Alty B ft. Richie Loop - Island Girl!

·        Canadian-based Dancehall sensation, Alty-B has landed his biggest accomplishment to date in his young career after enlisting the services fellow emerging singjay, Richie Loop on their new track, Island Girl.

The single, produced by Smoke Shop Studios is another step in the right direction for Alty Banton as he seeks universal superstardom in 2013. This joint effort is strictly a dedication to women in Jamaica and across the Caribbean, paying homage to their beauty, loyalty and essence which makes them stand out amongst the rest.

Having broken out with his party-themed single, My Cup in 2009, Richie Loop provides and ear-soothing hook for the ladies as he tells them to 'wine and go down' as only they can while Alty B says 'inna di club, mi and di gyal dem a par," whether they be from Grenada, St. Lucia, Trinidad or his homeland of Jamaica, where the ‘true champion’ girls lie.

The chemistry between these two acts are undeniable given their somewhat similar styles as smooth-sounding singjays, mixing scintillating melodies with edgier deejaying tactics.

This is the first collaboration with a chart-topping musician for Alty Banton, who rose to fame with another joint effort,Splice in 2011, featuring L-Jay. The dance-themed single introduced Jamaica and North America to this multi-faceted musician and two years later, he hopes to earn acclaim in clubs and on charts worldwide through this homage to the Caribbean region.

Island Girl will soon be available for purchase on iTunes and can be heard across various music outlets in the coming days. This track is sure to reap its benefits financially and critically within the music industry.
