This concert event hosted by Canada’s #1 Underground Comedian Trixx is projected to attract close to 10,000 fans who shall be entertained with a cast of performers that represent a wide scope of musical genres in popular music including Juno nominated R&B singer Kim Davis, two-time Stylus Award winner Reggae artist Lindo P, Toronto Hip-Hop sensations A-Game, along with Soca artists Problem Child and Ms Paige, Shaun Boothe, Crown ‘A Thornz, and Entourage. To round out the event, 2-time International Soca DJ of the Year Dr. Jay, Hamilton’s own MC Linx and Verse One, along with Platinum Touch from Flow 93.5’s Live-to-Air Gossip Saturdays will be on hand with the best in Soca and Hip-Hop music.

Hamilton Mardi Gras is a two-day “cultural explosion” that brings together the spirit of the city’s multiculturalism by way of music, food, and a parade of “mas” costumes on Saturday, August 6th. The festival, like other well-known Caribbean festivals around the country generates local tourism and injects a summer boost of income in the hospitality and entertainment sectors.
