Some of the most notable people who have fought,
or who fight for world peace include Pope John Paul
the second, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Ghandi and
the Dali Lama. In their own way, they all contributed
to the re-thinking of war which always prompts the
question "is war really necessary?"
One of Canada's leading vocalists, Jemini, has launched
a peace campaign, and is taking a first step via song.
Making its debut to the network is her song "World
Peace" in which her punchline says 'the highway of
hero's is not the way home.' Set to an R&B backdrop,
Jemini's voice sings from a soldiers wife's perspective,
and represents what many would like to see: World Peace.
